The End, Or, Happy Ever Afters

The time has come to close the book
To set it down and forget its words.
The time has come to leave the fairy worlds
and step back into reality.

The time has come for our stories to end
Their twists and turns have finished.
The time has come to look up from the page
and remember the stories before.

The time has come to think about
All the Happily Ever Afters
The time has come to think of love at first sight
and curse's that are actually broken.

The time has come to leave Beauty sleeping
and children chasing breadcrumbs through trees
And the time has come to say goodbye
To the fairy tales of darkness and rhyme.

The End
