No Place To Call Home

It's a withering attack on how crooked and evil humanity can be as a force, but that there's also hope (much like Pandora's Box)

There's only silence, and a heightened sense of fear

I stemmed the flow and felt nothing but disdain

Long swept away by violence, scarred with spirit slain

I sense the shattering of the world

And now we're left with nothing

Darkness engulfs, as the sun flares and burns in vain

We crumble to dust, purified, to start it all again

No place to call home

Beyond salvation and beyond recognition

Never again can we restore our order

Love turns savage on it's own volition

There's only the tattered remains of savage humanity

I bought it to bear but bones break under the burden

Buried under the weight now with the rest of them

Here comes the shattering of the world

Let's go now because we can't go back

We come to the place we dread to dream

Because the truth's always darker than it seems

No place to call home

Beyond salvation and beyond recognition

Never again can we restore our order

Love turns savage on it's own volition

The End
