No More Bloodshed

These children are born with scars
through their blood runs the tar of hate
A childhood stolen with threatening murmurs
replaced with the warped persistence of war

Barriers are torn down with barbarianism
as pacifists are left to the slaughter
I don’t want any more discrimination
I don’t want no more bloodshed

No More Bloodshed
No More Bloodshed
No More Bloodshed
No More...

Father smiles with deception
he leaves his son to his toys
Knowing one day he will be gone
to fight an unwinnable war

A flag of surrender is stained with despair
All the children are parted from their parents
One single bullet tears the young from their youth
and leaves a hollow heart of decay

I don’t want no more bloodshed

No More Bloodshed
No More Bloodshed
No More Bloodshed
No More...

You say you want it to stop, so you
lower your guns and pray to God
But no mercy is given to the condemned
But no mercy is given to the condemned

The End
