No Hope Without A Home

Inside, there's no chance of seeing you
I've never felt so bitter before
Even when you look at me with blank eyes
Was I ever supposed to care?

Portraits fade, my gaze will stain
But they are unknowing
Sometimes I want to hold no ties
To yesterday, to tomorrow

But there's no hope
Without a home
I'm with you
But I'm alone
But I'd do it all
I'd even take the fall

Outside,  breeds truth to you
I never felt so sad before
Would it be different if I never met you?
Was it just a life to forget?

Portraits fade, my gaze will stain
But they are unharmed
Once in a while I wish I could throw it all away
For you, for me

The End
