Behind Those Eyes

Behind those eyes
I’ve fallen in:
Such wonder
And such light.

What wiles have you
To haunt me so?
Your spells
Transfix me quite.

That glimmer
In your umber eyes,
Make me wake
And dream of you.

You bandit queen;
Light lady be
Steal my heart
Out of the blue.

Rain on me
Tender bloom;
I would wither
All the night.

For behind those eyes
I’ve fallen in:
Such wonder
And such light.

The End
