Never Look Down

Glorious day; a new life arrives
So she shall be told and retold
‘til death does she part to surrender
To the atrophy of it all
But glorious day we will still say
Be this the child who turns to the
World of ice and says I am me and
Beautiful am I. Though the world will
Turn in the theory of vanity
She shall be the one to melt it all.
‘til the day they come and come to see
The more you allow yourself to be pushed
And pulled downwards; the further you are
From flying. So Dearest Girl, fly on,
Fly on in the clouds; never look down.

The End
