Never Know What can Happen... To Someone you Love

A poem of a girl who was a teenager, daughter, and sister. The aftermath of her actions in the pov of her younger brother.

They walk in her room to ask her if she'd like to go up to the ice cream stand with them.
Only to find that she's on the floor.
Her mother falls to her daughters' side, wrapping her arms around her unconscious body, crying.
Her step-dad grabs the phone and dials 9-1-1.
Her little brother doesn't know what to do.
He runs out the room and out the house.
Wishing and hoping that was all just a nightmare.
Until the cop cars and ambulance pass him.
Heading towards his house.
He runs to the park down the street, and crawls up in a slide.
Sobbing.

The End
