I've always loved you
I've stood by your side
I'm still here even at the end of the line
Holding your hand gently in mine
Kissing you softly for the very last time
Our final moments I wipe a tear from my eye
The hardest words to say are goodbye
Even if you're no longer here with me
We'll be together again one day, you'll see.
