It’s funny how even after all this timeMature

It’s funny how even after all this time -
three thousand, two hundred
and sixty seven days -
I can still crave the press of you
on my skin, the taste of your kiss,
the comfort of your fingers
wrapped around my hip, my wrist,
digging trails into my back.
You’d think some of the magic
might have worn off but
I still lose myself between your lips
and nothing’s ever felt quite like this.

The End
