Nagasaki Flower

I can remember where you told me farewell
even your fragrance remains
despite the noxious enmity of the outside world
I cannot hide my sadness any longer

Fragile memories can only become concern
when we do our best to pretend
Our beauty can never truly wither
but it can fade without the sunlight in each other’s eyes

Be my Nagasaki Flower

I hope you will be there to hold me
when I falter and cannot go any further
I am fortunate you have remained for
I cannot breathe within the black ocean of tonight

I don’t know what lies after this life
I don’t know what lies after this life without you
so could you please
be my Nagasaki Flower

Teach me how to keep on going when all is lost
Teach me how to keep on going for I do not know
I’d give away everything
so be my Nagasaki Flower

The End
