Challenge: Write about a given emotion, telling the reader how it's like to feel that particular emotion. My emotion was agitation.

A hive of bees,
A hornet's nest,
Hunting eagles
Disturb my rest. 
A hammer's song
Plays in my chest,
My heart doesn't know
What my mind thinks best.
My brain is pulled
Up, down, left, right,
Conflicting thoughts,
My mental fight.
Bees sting, Men scream,
I cry, I dream,
Reality
Makes war with me.
My heart does not see
What's good for it,
And society
Won't conform a bit.
My mind knows what
Is happening,
But my heart just won't try
Surrendering.

As most of the people who read my work know, I'm mainly a poet. And one of the things I do as a Protagonize poet is take part in the Protagonize Poetry Workshop Seasonal Poetry Tournments. I've participated in all of the tournamnets(so far) in one way or another, including the very first Summer Tournament, where I was a judge.

This is a collection of all my tournament material, from all four of the tournaments that I've participated in as a poet so far. They're all in order from the very first tournament I was in as a poet(the Autumn Tournament). I've put this up with the intention of seeing how I've progressed as a poet. Please don't be too hard on me while reading my early works :)
