The Water Demon.Mature

Drowning.

It lashes

And crashes, it

Rains it pours.

Out on the rocks she waits.

Drowning.

Unsuspecting souls

Get lured to the

Clear waters,

Transfixed by the wonders submerged in the waves.

Drowning.

As flesh meets water,

There she appears.

Formed out of the liquid surrounding her,

She stands as strong and as proud as the sea she guards.

Drowning.

She is

Intimidating

And fierce,

Yet beautiful. Just like the waters by her feet.

Drowning.

Her face is

Sharp

As rivers run

From her deep storming eyes, salting the sea.

Drowning.

Her victims become transfixed

By her, not able to move as she brings her arm up

In between their bodies. Her hair,

Taken by the wind, curls

Drowning.

And crashes around her body,

Lashing out

At the world

Around it in waves.

Drowning

She opens her mouth, a loud

Howling of wind

Followed by the screams of those lost at sea

Cry out, surrounding them.

Drowning.

They bombard

Into her latest victim,

His ears bleeding from the sound,

His eyes watering from the beautifully terrifying sight.

Drowning.

No one

Escapes after she decides

To take

Their life.

The End
