Every Exception Has A Rule

Every exception has a rule
And every rule the former.
Every cloud has a silver lining,
And every street a corner.

Nature's animals go in pairs,
And opposites attract.
In history and philosophy,
Fiction always counters fact.

It's a universal balance
That's always kept in sync,
By what eccentrics dream,
And what the sceptics think.

The End
