Along With the Melting Snow

Day after day

I watch the frail trees sway

And remember when I

Used to be one of them

Dancing in the wind

Not a care in the world

Each snowflake would fall

Dancing on the icy branches

As I would hold my arms up

Face upturned

To whoever came to join me

Singing in the sunlight

Running gaily with no place to go

It didn't matter to me, for I was free

Laughing along with the melting snow

The End
