Missing You On A Winter's Day

Missing you on a winter's day,
As the cold frost bites my skin.
Missing you like I always do,
Behind my frozen grin.

Missing you in springtime,
When the flowers are full in bloom.
Their colours defy the pallour
Of my heart's dark and empty room.

Missing you in the summer,
Amidst the warmth and heat.
But the memories of time gone by
Are sore and bittersweet.

Miss you in the autumn wind
Amidst the swirling leaves.
As the temperature falls so swiftly,
My broken heart still grieves.

The End
