A Candle that Resembles a Bird, and a Boat that Resembles a Skateboard

I built a raft, on a whim, and called it a boat

and found my self lost at sea.

Though my hauteur would never let me free

So everyday  I rolled my eyes at the waves;

raised my fists to the heavens

and gave my feet to the sharks.

And when my hope turned dark,

you shone in the  semblence of a dove

and graced acrosss the sky,

as a portent of salvation.

And now with this candle that resembles a bird

and a boat the resembles a skateboard.

I paddle through,

with eyes no longer opaque and

my soul drowning flimsy.
