Catch That Leprachaun!

A large felt hat

A pointed shoe

A streak of green

Below the blue

For though it pains me much to say

My leprachaun has run away!

My hopes, my dreams, my luck is gone

So I must catch that leprachaun

And beg him, pleading, to restore

Good solace to my inner core

He flees among the shadows

And dives into the dawn

Harder than a steel blade

To catch the leprachaun

Not quite the fairy godmom

I had pictured at the start

And yet it seems that he alone

Can mend my aching heart

I realize I've gone insane

By scouring the town

And searching for a leprachaun

To turn my life around

The End
