Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Skip Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Skip Sunday, Monday...

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

I think I'll skip a day, my dears,
Or two if you don't mind,
The time is jogged, like hopping-frogs,
When skipping through leap years!

Who needs a day like Thursday,
It's sort of in the way,
I'd like to make my week more short,
With much more time to play

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Who needs a day like Sunday,
For oftentimes it's wrong,
Why every day has sunshine,
From morn to evening long.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

I think I'll skip a day, my dears,
Or two if you don't mind,
The time is jogged, like hopping-frogs,
When skipping through leap years!

Who needs a day like Wednesday?
It's often hard to spell,
Why make it hard for all our kids,
Without, we're just as well.

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Who needs a day like Tuesday,
It's tired and it's meek.
Forget the three-day weekends,
Give me the three-day week!

Monday, Friday, Saturday

I think I'll skip a day, my dears,
Or two if you don't mind,
The time is jogged, like hopping-frogs,
When skipping through leap years!

Who needs a day like Monday?
It's always such a bore.
Don't wake up early just for work,
No traffic anymore!

Friday, Saturday

Who needs a day like Friday,
It's often at the end,
But since it starts the week,
Now it does offend.

Saturday

I think I'll skip a day, my dears,
Or two if you don't mind,
The time is jogged, like hopping-frogs,
When skipping through leap years!

Saturday, oh Saturday,
Once you were so grand.
But now your cartoons do not amuse,
They really are quite bland.

I think I'll skip this whole leap year,
And, lo, I have no time, my dear!

The End
