Alexander's Daughter

Alexander's daughter,

I never could say,

I love you,

On that beautiful bay,

Your fingers twirled in your hair,

And you did sing and dance,

While I smiled and laughed,

Then let you prance,

Nothing was fair,

I had nothing to say,

Alexander's daughter was gone,

Left on that beautiful bay,

I managed to say it though,

I love you,

But to Mathew's daughter,

And Elizabeth's too.

And the happiness on the bay,

Suddenly went,

Because Alexander's daughter was gone,

And my heart was bent.

The End
