I steadied my hand,
I took the wind in the sky,
Placed it in the barrel,
And raised smoke from the ground,
I dried eyes and blood,
Raising all this smoke from the ground,
I treated the dying decay,
Raising blood from the wounds in this world.

I steady my hand,
Caressing fragments in my skin,
Dangerously forgotten,
I have splinters in my mind,
Just a rotten apple in my mind,
A time when blood was mine,
Raising blood from the wounds,
Drying blood and sour decay.

And now where this happened,
Only poppies lay.

The End
