Rainbows, Butterflies, and Compromise

When I was smaller than a snowflake

But stronger than a brick wall

When I could tell stories that needed no meaning

And truths that were buried deep within the lies,

I walked down a path paved with frozen memories,

And caught butterflies with my fingertips,

Singing songs that lived on the other side of the rainbow,

And making compromises with Mother Nature

So that I could live forever.

The End
