My Heart Will Destroy Itself
It's about how you can give your heart to someone, and you believe they feel the same, but in the end, you're left to pick up the pieces of a false relationship
The briefest of glances or letters sent
And suddenly heaven itself has opened its heart towards you
Fates intertwined, they give to us an explosive romance
But I know there never was a chance
Karma will take far more, than it will ever give to you
She loves me, but as the sand flows her mind will change
Spare me the indecision, spare me these nights in pain
I fought to rescue a love that never could be saved
Alone all along, my idea of a love is digging my own grave
Condemning myself to my own fate
I can destroy myself by other means
I open my heart as you leave me here to wonder
You said "I'm yours eternally" and in seconds
You close yourself to me like the sinners path to heaven
And my heart's calming fire turns itself to thunder
She loves me, but as the sand flows her mind will change
Spare me the indecision, spare me these nights in pain
I fought to rescue a love that never could be saved
Alone all along, my idea of a love is digging my own grave
Condemning myself to my own fate
You will have the heart of me
And though I tried to tell myself I feel better now
I know I will be alone for an eternity
Is there another life to live for me
Is there another way out
I gave my heart to you so many times
There's nothing but silence left inside
She loves me, but as the sand flows her mind will change
Spare me the indecision, spare me these nights in pain
I fought to rescue a love that never could be saved
Alone all along, my idea of a love is digging my own grave
Condemning myself to my own fate
I shall leave my heart to destroy itself
