My Eyes

Words cower behind my trembling tongue

And my eyes betray me with their gift of the gab

they give all away

and clink their crystal

 in oblivious array

Two glass fulls of glisten spill with clumsy natter

Heads thrown back

pearly whites glint

tips of flutes toast

And now he knows everything

And my logic is awash with the waves

And firm he stands

as I crash all over him

whipping and slapping

My earth, my rock, my hard man

The End
