My Disguise

Recommend

My disguise is worn by many.

"But you wear it so well,

How could I tell?"

The whole facade doesn't benefit me any.

"But how is this true?

It's so perfect for you."

It doesn't fit; I'm holding it together at the seams.

"But how can that be?

Surely I'd see."

You possibly aren't looking close enough.

"I'm as close as I can get,

I see the mask but it's firmly set."

My mask is seen by few.

"Why hide from me?

I can already see..."

My mask is that of a brave face, and it's getting so hard to wear.
