In the simmering heat,

 Wavering before my face,

I drift,

Away to daydreams,

And think,

Of you,

And what you said.

We talked, exchanged some words,

I remember your face, your smile,

The way you twiddled your thumbs.

And suddenly,

I realize,

You're only a figment of my imagination.

The End
