The mighty rain comes crashing down

Bringing with it an almighty frown

But budding flowers, stretch so high

Sucking up water from the sky

They wish to grow big and strong

With chunky stamens and roots so long

While everyone hides in shelter and fear

We are all reminded of earlier this year

So the thing that gets our spirits soaring

Is something exciting and not so boring

The Easter Bunny comes with his delight

Which he gives to you in the night

His warm kind spirit beats the rain

And lovely warmth is restored again

The End
