Missy and Jelle's Wedding Song

One day Missy met a handsome fella. He was drinking coffee and his name was Jelle.
Jelle loves hiking and his red shorts, and volleyball is his favorite sport.
He likes riding bikes and he can cook. His hair is really curly, just take a look.
She asked him a question and he said OK, and now they’re getting married this very day!

We hope someday they won’t be too far away. We love our family, our Missy and Jelle.
We love our Missy, she likes to throw doughs. We love Jelle too, he does something with volcanos.
Missy and Jelle are really great. They don’t drive too fast on the interstate, and
We’re so glad this is their fate. We’ll love all of their kids; 1, 2... or 8.

Missy loves languages, songs, and art. She likes to write poetry in the park.
She also loves cats and dressing up, and she likes to drink out of tiny cups.
She goes wherever she wants to go, and I don’t know why she likes Ani Difranco, and
When there’s a wedding, don’t get in her way; she’ll kick you in the shins and catch the bouquet!

We’ll love all of their kids: 1, 2... or 8.

Missy and Jelle, y’all are really swell. You like to make crepes, and babies as well.
And we hope those diapers are not too smelly, and that people stop calling you Misty and Jelly.
Your kids are going to learn so much, like English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German and Dutch,
Let’s raise our glasses if we may, and toast you both, and all your babies someday...

We’re glad today you’re not too far away. We love our family, our Missy and Jelle.
We love our Missy, she likes to throw doughs. We love Jelle too, he does something with volcanos.
Missy and Jelle are really great. We’ll love all their kids, 1, 2, or 8, and
We’re so glad this is their fate, so let’s drink champagne and celllllllebrate!!!
