Miserable Monday BluesMature

I have said too much and you are silent
So I just laugh and try to avoid this awkward pause
You gave me so much to mull over in my mind
I’d give you my heart but you would just break it

Another Miserable Monday morning and I haven’t slept
I call your phone but as always you never answer
I can see you now, dressed to impress
just too far away from where we were supposed to meet

But when the man of your dreams suddenly leaves
you are all talk when you want me to listen
I am willing to waste my hours to give advice
I will be honest, I have nothing better to do

Put me down for the fifth time tonight
I’ll be on my way into a spiral
Sometimes I want you to give a fuck
so I won’t feel so ashamed about giving you my dignity

The End
