The Great PerhapsMature

We mention
a great perhaps
sometimes in passing
sometimes in dismissal
and though I have just discovered it,
this great perhaps,
I know when mine started
It started, but only barely,
when my feet hit the pavement
in front of my home
when my fingers and heels
dug into the tree
this great perhaps of mine, though,
truly began
when I stared him in the face
the room buzzing
with the smell of pizza
and space theoreticals,
when our lips decided,
there just weren't enough constellations.
I pave the way
of my great perhaps
like a labyrinth only I can navigate
going straight and fast
or swerving my way through
though there isn't much,
I will take my time
for my great perhaps
has only just began.

The End
