Malicious, is a word that is too subtle to describe

That which it supposedly defines

It does not capture

The pain brought upon those

Under its wrath

Nor those, who enforce it

It will whisper, so softly into your ear

And, if you listen, it will crescendo

Tremendously fast

Into a roaring not unlike the thunder

Of the storm it will ignite

It will grow, like a weed

In the back of your mind

Like some alien species of plant

Taking over your native self

And becoming something new.

The End
