Malice Unfurled

It's about how anger and hatred can quickly take over every action a person does and how it can consume your life

Words spoken with meaning thinly disguised

And your world is now pure darkness

Stated as humour but with malice inside

Anger unfurled as your vision falls away

Stepping outside of yourself

And your senses suddenly baying for blood

Something evil this way comes

Your sense of hate sent to destroy

I fell into the dark

I fell into the dark

Subtle actions but battle lines are drawn

And it seems the gauntlet has been thrown

Seething embers turn to fire in the dawn

And it seems that there’s no way to return

A battle cry in the night

How hatred quickly lives as its own

Something evil has become unchained

Something evil sent to destroy

I fell into the dark

I fell into the dark

My malice and I are as one

The End
