21. To The Horizon

I’m moving forward,
something strong in the air,
keeps me walking onwards
Keeps me travelling ground.
I make my way to the horizon,
A darkened line of what lays ahead,
I’m moving away from the here and now,
And into what might lay beyond.
Something in the distance,
Continues to call my name,
Singing sunshine in moonlight,
forever holding my bonds.
And for here and now,
Is there and soon,
We’ve travelled ground,
Old friend of mine,
My heart pounds
In footsteps of forever.

The End
