18. Purple Sky Rolling

I found my way into the world
Stupidly stunned by you,
Purple sky floating by me,
A halo encrusted in suffocating hearts.

I found my way into the world,
I hung around, from the neck,
From these trees.
Purple sky floating by me,
A halo crushing down around my neck.

For so long I waited,
Held memories, in anticipation,
Drew colours in your name,
Tasted the world we had carved with our words…
For so long I waited,
Disappointed eternally.

I dreamt noises by my name,
I tasted the sap of these hangman’s trees,
I leaked the blood of our dream

For so long I waited.

The End
