13. Cutting Room

Indigo patterns, my reasoning traces you;
You are just fragments floating,
forgotten on the cutting room floor,
Digging your nails in tightly.

You’ve been here before,
discarded daydreams of a yesterday gone by.
And time won’t resolve the situations that have come to pass,
But every sound he makes is a broken shadow of your history,
Another angel passing another demon at your door.

 Red, these patterns changing,
You’ve been here before,
No chance like a last chance,
You have everything to lose,
But everything to learn.

Take these stones from the cutting room floor,
Never let them float, always let them burn.

The End
