Lucid ConnectionMature

The blood came running forth
from my vein
My body contorted
with my spinal cord nearly failing to keep its form

I'd heard a scream
from a girl
She looked onto the one she loved
as his eyes bled
his corpse floating demonically above our heads
There was a moan from his lips
despite the lifelessness of his body
and he was smiling despite her despair
She screamed until her throat grew tired of her voice
and began oppressing the air from her lungs

I reached out
and I felt something rake its claws against my skin
and I felt something pierce deep
and within those few moments
we'd all began drowning

The End
