Loving The Loveless

Why can't I stop loving you,

When all I get is hurt,

How can I stop missing you,

My hatred I avert.

Why won't you stop leaving me,

To find somebody new,

How will you believe in me,

I don't know what to do.

Why can't I by mad at you,

I'm angry at myself,

How do you pick me up; throw me down,

Like a book upon the shelf.

Why won't you stop hurting me,

My heart can't take much more,

How do you keep deserting me,

And cast me to the floor.

Why do you enjoy this so,

Does it hurt you none at all?

How does your black heart continue to grow,

When you laugh and watch me fall.

The End
