Relationships are such muddled affairs
and in a moment can turn sour
Thine eyes could see only love
but suddenly now hate discover

The touch by which senses tingled
now only inspires reproach
the feel akin to an insect crawling
to be dealt with before they encroach

We're are creatures cumbersome
our emotions over us so rule
at times we're the wisest of them
and at times behave as fools

The End
