Love Sonnet

English homework sonnet

There is no other feeling quite like love,

Its happiness and sadness will change you,

It may fly upon the wind like a dove,

Or boil in a pot like horrid old stew.

Finding the one is always rewarding,

To know that they are someone you can trust,

In sickness and in health, will be loving

Forever, lest the round metal bonds rust.

Sometimes these ceremonies will break up,

Divorce and Death, to name some of the few,

All the more reason to fail and give up

You never loved me, like I have loved you.

Plants are like love, without care it will wilt.

No trust will destroy everything you built.

The End
