Lost in the dark
He hid between the purple fabrics as a child
the darkness over his head could protect him from the world then,
but it can't now.
Nightmares don't take, they leave
Time takes
And so the world ticks by, and the sky does dark, and the imagination is let unreined
Haunts.

and we can only remember what was
the present is stuck on past
future is lost over the horizen
and we all wonder together in the hills
amoung the nightmares
in the dark
