Little songbird

A poem about a sweet little songbird who is the world's great love.

Little songbird you've flown across the land

Sung your song across the oceans

Dreamt through the sands

You've seen all and know all too

You gave your wisdom to our children

Not ever a word askew

But with all your experience comes one burden

You've never found your true love

You're still a virgin

It's a problem for sure.Indeed

With no heir your legacy may die

Little bird, God's speed

You have the world's support little friend

Fly for all those you've helped

He is waiting for you round the bend

Fly across the lands

Sing to him through all the seas

And dream of him through the sands

The End
