Litany

Our troubles that weigh us down
will encompass our past lives
Such a pestilence can never be purified
So hold it close to our cleansed minds

Our patience comes crashing down
Leaving only the defected bitterness
We hurt others, we hurt ourselves
But this dark congregation holds no truth

Litany of one
Litany of all
Wash away our silence
Litany of one
Litany of all
Sanctify our dissidence

Our morale is shaken by the derogatory
Yet it still stands in such strength
There will be loss, there will be failure
But beneath lies the inevitable triumph

Litany of one
Litany of all
Wash away our silence
Litany of one
Litany of all
Sanctify our dissidence

Keep the temptations of obliteration at bay

The End
