Lines
Vines twine along these lines
that keep falling on me-
On my feet, chest, neck, and eyes
I can barely breathe
.
The misty sunsets form in lines,
streaming widely through the skies
Floating high above my eyes,
They shine in front of me
.
Birds dance and fly in lines
tranquilly crying the finest tones
across the sultry skies at night,
hovering over the earth, alone
.
Inspiration comes in lines,
driving me through the trying times
as I long for the morning light
to form again before my eyes
.
The days come and go in lines
creeping beneath me, stealing signs
of the doubts that I have kept inside,
unfolding before us, in the lines.
