Gently Go On

Parent Poem: HerSubstanceDestroys' wisps of something long-gone reach out and touch

This is a promise;
My word,
A covenant
Rest assured.
You can fall into it
Tonight,
Gently go on,
It’s alright.
Or if you want to
Daydream,
Count on me to be
Per diem.
You may know a
Hundred worlds and better,
Even lay down next to me
Forever.
So long as we tell
Such tidings sweetly,
And not valedictions
Fleetly.
Thus we shall rise anon;
Discover,
The dawn chorus
Undercover.

The End
