Letter from an old student
If you're reading this letter then I found out your address,
And if you are some stranger, well, at least I did my best.
I'm not that great at poems and I really couldn't write,
An article, a playscript or a book to save my life.
I know you'll soon be married and I know you have a son,
But I'll just say one simple thing and then I will be done.
I've always wished that I was yours and wished that you were mine.
And now I have to go because I'm running out of rhymes.
