Let Me Love You
I love you like the vine loves the willow it entwines,
Snaking leafy fingers through the branches of your hair,
Wrapping arms and legs around your trunk.
I love you like the rain cloud loves the earth,
Raining kisses down upon your brow,
Flooding you with the torrents of my desire.
All I want is to feel your arms around me again,
All I need are your tender hands, your soft lips,
All I ask is that you let me love you.
And I will feel at home again,
And I will be at peace in my heart and soul,
And I will know happiness has returned,
And that everything is right with the world once more.
