Abandon

Abandon me abandon hope

For life will not get better

Awash with guilt

You’ll slowly choke

There ain’t no getting better.

You choose to throw away your life

In a moment of fleeting pleasure

And now you hold me in your arms

Can’t you see how life gets better

I can’t promise it’ll be a breeze

I can’t tell you what to do

But I know should you abandon me

You’ll never be forgiving you.

So wrap me up and hold me close

And love me all my life

For one day i’ll be big and strong,

And be proud to call you mum.

The End
