paper cutsMature

These days
I'm stretched so thin,
like nothing
I've ever lived through before.
You are
making paper-cuts
along the edges of my sanity.
Paper-cuts
all along these lines I drew
for you.

All of this meant
to protect you -
to keep you just,
just far enough away.

Now you're telling me
you're the tired one.
Don't tell me, anymore.

The End
