Leap of Faith

I swear, I should become nocturnal.

Come take me away,

On your velvet wings I'll fly.

The setting sun beckons,

We must fly in to the sky.

I want my feet to leave the ground,

I do not want to fear the fall.

I know I am safe in your arms,

That you will answer every call.

Kiss me, hold me,

Reassure my aching heart.

It yearns for the union of our souls,

It despises the thought that we may part.

I kiss your lips,

My heart you may keep.

To be in love,

You must first take the leap.

The End
