Good Friday

God,     the  anguish

Of the bitter wounds

Of the never-ceasing, always-biting, forever-burning

Dead weight of my arms, my head, my mind; nothing

Fights   or   tries  to

Rid me of the weight

I can’t hold on to my

Dying thoughts, ruined

As the shadow marches

“You did this.”

The End
