Laughed the Ancient Stars

When the ancient stars began to laugh
Their cold mystic fire, we thought
We’d name them each for lovers, enemies,
Memories. But they have, I think
Their own names from eons before
You and I, this earth, this sky, this dream.
So let them laugh and let them fall,
Let them as themselves cease to be.
